Tripod Hire — Terms & Conditions

Drafted to match how the tripod hire system is actually built. Like every other terms page on this site, it has not been reviewed by a lawyer — flag for real legal sign-off before relying on it.

These terms apply whenever you hire a tripod through the Love Life Legends network at one of our partner hotels.

Hiring a tripod requires a Love Life Legends account and payment of the hire fee for your chosen duration, shown at the time of hire. Active members receive a 20% discount off the regular hire price.

The tripod remains our property at all times. You're responsible for it for the full duration of your hire, and agree to return it to the hotel desk by the end of that period.

By hiring a tripod, you authorise us to charge your payment method an additional amount if it's returned damaged, or if it's lost or stolen while in your care:

Returned damaged: an additional $40.00.
Lost or stolen: an additional $90.00.

These amounts are flat charges regardless of hire duration or hotel, and are separate from — and in addition to — the hire fee itself. Your payment method is saved securely with our payment processor (Stripe) specifically so this charge can be made without needing you present, in the same way many hotels and car rental services handle a security hold.

Hotel staff record the tripod's condition on return. If you disagree with a damage, loss, or theft determination, contact us and we'll review it — see our contact page.

You must be 18 or over to hire a tripod. Normal use only — the tripod must not be used in a way that risks damage, or taken outside the hotel premises unless agreed with hotel staff.
